"For myself, I think that those who cultivate wisdom and believe themselves able to instruct their fellow-citizens as to their interests are least likely to become partisans of violence.
They are too well aware that to violence attach enmities and dangers, whereas results as good may be obtained by persuasion safely and amicably."

A translated quote from Xenophon of Athens, an ancient Greek philosopher, historian, soldier, mercenary, and student of Socrates.

"The most terrifying force of death comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. The moment the Men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these Men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people's door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy... but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone." - Author -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Texas and the Republic of Texas

Before becoming a nation, Texas was a part of México and was begun with 300 families near Goliad and San Antonio de Bexar. Texas was a wild and dangerous area that needed to de developed and was threatened by Native-American tribes. Texas was promised to become it's own Mexican state as soon as it had sufficient population and infrastructure. Until then, it formed the state of Coahuila and Texas.
When ready, Texas submitted a request to form it's own state, but that request was ignored. Rebels (not from Texas) then overthrew the Mexican government. Texas was forced to seek it's own independence or become a state of the United States of America.

Address of the Honorable S.F.Austin, Delivered at Louisville, Kentucky on March 7, 1836
The Texas Declaration of Independence : March 2,_1836

It is fascinating how much the Texan fight for independence is so similar to the fight of the 13 colonies here.
Many appeals to the central governments were repeatedly rejected.

Second letter to President Trump (PDF) by Martin Armstrong from Armstrong Economics. I place my highest regard for his work. Please read his site, including his older work through the tags about ancient economics that have exactly followed our current set of crisises.

One type of Corona virus (causes common colds) destroys our constitutional rights!

A transcription from the Declaration of Independence of the 13 colonies against the British. I think that this really is an inspiring and uplifting work about how after trying to remain British Citizens, they finally decided that they could no longer justly live their lives under the rule of the Crown and Parliament.

You can now view a PDF with the Anti-Federalist Papers.
I am working on breaking the papers into individual articles to make reading them easier and to give us a chance to think about what these thinkers of those times was correct or not. History has now given enough time for the Constitution to be put to the test.

I have added some historical documents from Texas as it declared independence from México

From June 12, 2019 and forward. I'm just going to add to and edit this list as things go.

  • Add a navigation bar to our pages.
I have several options for how to do this and I haven't made up my mind yet which way to go.

  • Also, break up the Anti-Federalist Papers into individual pages with each one. This will make reading through them much nicer than trying to swallow the whole set at one sitting.
I like having small sections written by the different authors so that I can consider what each one means.
These papers have now gained a real meaning to our lives since many of the warnings have now indeed come true today!

  • Add a full copy of the Constitution of the USA. Not perfect, but damned good.
The Federalist versus The Anti-Federalist Papers show arguments on each side for or against the Constitution as it was written.

  • Start clearing up some of the bullshit history we were indoctrinated with in school.
Paul Revere riding out declaring "The British are Coming!". Are you kidding me?
Paul Revere WAS British. The Declaration of Independence wasn't even considered yet!
That makes about as much sense as an American, if (when) we have another civil war, driving her truck down the highway shouting "The Americans are coming! The Americans are coming!" Ridiculous!
If you don't understand why I say "her truck", you need to think more Texan. Everybody has their own four door dually diesel truck. Mom has to go pick up the kids from school. Needs something respectful to drive.

  • Remind people of all of the freedoms they have lost here that other people still have in other countries.
All of those Guatemalans who have decided to come here are going to be very surprised at how many freedoms and privileges they had in Guatemala are freedoms that are prohibited here.
This has become a country based on what you cannot do, not what you are free to do.
It's called Fascism. It's evil. It's the power to openly do evil terrible things without suffering any consequences.
Let's skip "recent" history. Read up on the concentration camps that the British used in the Boer War in South Africa.

  • Put up some of the truth about what was going on when the Southern States seceded. Did you know that several Northern States were also just about to secede?

  • Get out some of the real history about our heroic President Lincoln.
I'll be honest, what I have been learning about our real history versus what we were indocumented with has me scared. So much propaganda, so little truth.

  • Want to see a version of our history that just took a lot longer?
Roman Kingom, followed by Roman Republic with Senators, followed by Roman Empire and finally a total collapse. Just history and ruins now.
Are we now, just like Rome, at the point of total collapse? History repeats. History indicates that it looks like it is the end. Something better usually rises up from the ashes, only to fall again and rise again.
